& CONTROLS OFFERS NEW LINE OF ASHCROFT® DIGITAL PRESSURE
GUAGES
May 1, 2003 - Rust Automation & Controls Inc. announces
the availability of the latest in digital pressure gauges from Ashcroft®,
the leader in high performance pressure and temperature gauges and
switches. Rust is the exclusive manufacturer's representative for
Ashcroft in the Rocky Mountain Region, serving a wide varieties of
industries including mining, petroleum, chemical processing, transportation,
food and beverage, nutritional supplements, water and wastewater,
manufacturing and OEMs.
The new Ashcroft Type D1005PS pressure gauge brings standard features
to the digital gauge market that, until now, were either not offered
or were provided only as options on competitor's products. All Ashcroft
Type D1005PS gauges have 1/2% full scale, terminal point accuracy
including linearity, repeatability and hysteresis Its four-digit
display provides the resolution needed to read stated accuracy.
With the Ashcroft D1005PS gauge, nine selectable units of measure
are standard: whether you are reading in kpa, psi, bar, kg/cm2,
or ft H20, this one gauge can display the unit of your choice. Rather
than purchasing several gauges for different units of measure, the
Ashcroft digital gauge provides the solution with one product. It
has a display with 1/2" character size for easy reading and
is available in eleven ranges from vacuum to 9,999 psi. Other standard
features include a peak hold feature for maximum pressure indication
and a backlight for enhanced visibility.
This new Ashcroft product is a versatile and economic choice for
a wide variety of pressure measurement applications. The stainless
steel sensor and socket make it suitable not only for dry air applications,
but for other media as well.
